Parade and Romance

Have a parade. For a neighborhood party, try getting your guests to make their own Mardi Gras ‘floats’ (perhaps decorating their cars or bicycles). Set up a time and place not far from your party’s location and laugh and sing your way through the streets before the real party starts.

Add some romance. When it’s time for the masked ball, it should be adults only. In true Mardi Gras spirit, this part of the night is for enjoying excesses in love, drink, dance and romance.
